Mayuka controlling the ball...the 17 year old did not receive enough supply.

Indeni centre-half Gift Sakahuwa clears the ball acrobatically.

End of the road...the dream is over. The young Guns can't believe it.

With regard to the Zambia vs Egypt game,I as a one of the oldest soccer patrons in the country feel alot of work has to be done in Zambia. This should start with the way teams are selected to the way the training sessions are conducted. This issue of sticking to a small number of players just because they are known is bad.Recently on my way from South Africa,i stopped over at Chirundu Border post for a night. In the afternoons a good friend of mine who works there invited me to go and watch a division 2 match between Chilanga Heroes and Chirundu United.I was amazed at the skills that the young players displayed. In particular, the youngest player who plays for Chirundu United caught my atention. He really has the skill and he is so young.I had the guts to talk to him after the game. His name is Milimo 'mendieta'Monze, to my surprise he told me he just completed his Grade 12 and is looking forward to go and study in South Africa next year. This means if he goes to SA next year we might lose track of him.I then got interested in the player's performance by following the team's fixtures.I remember him displaying a very good game against K Stars with his outstanding performance in the midfield. He has the ability to shoot at long range,cont5ain the ball with very accurate passes. He is so young and determined and i think such boys should be considered for the national colours.Unfortunately,i will be leaving the country tomorrow.I really wanted to continue monitoring this talented young zambian. This really brings you and i to identify this young man and see to it that he takes his talent further. It would be a great pleasure to see you work on showcasing this young Zambian.
